last year was by far the greatest valentines day!

i surprised dean at work with 27 balloons
then we went to dinner at BJ's and became official after 4 months of dating :)

Everyone is human and every human makes mistakes! Not one person can say they have never made a mistake... I find it sad that someone is being judged for something he did 50 years ago when he was 24...
Not only do everyone make mistakes but times change and with times laws, norms, and trends change as well.
Unfortunately the priest we had chosen to do our wedding will no longer be able too... we do have another one in mind but wont make any decisions till closer to september...
its kind of funny how traditions pop up when my parents were getting married they lost there priest before their wedding as well...


for father martin... you will forever be the priest that made us laugh and enjoy every homily! and will always be known as our father Hot Pants after you shocked us at the Jackie Bristow memorial run with your short shorts and amazing health!

its amazing how fast time is passing!!
Next month will be exactly 6months since we got engaged and 13months till the wedding!!

When i went to my last fitting for my dress some of my bridesmaids wanted to try on bridesmaids dresses. About an hour later we all agreed on a dress and found out it was going to be discontinued so they decided to order them now and get them altered closer to the wedding! im soo excited because the dresses compliments my dress sooo well!!

The colors are now set and i can start looking for jewelry and all the fun stuff!!

I also meant with my florist and we got everything figured out and designed and  i am so excited to see the final product.

pretty little penny

So Its a new year and definitely should be a pretty interesting one!

This week i have three wedding meetings starting tomorrow

Tomorrow im meeting with the reception hall to do another deposit and hopefully talk about some details
Friday im meeting with the potential photographer to nail out the nitty gritty stuff and see what he has planned
Saturday im meeting with our amazingly talented florist to go over all my ideas and see what she thinks
im super excited and cant wait to get all the things moving!

Dean is back to school and working double time to finish in time to join the academy in the fall!!
I go back the 18th and cant wait to get closer to graduating and know once i start the wedding will be here before i know it!!

Wedding Update Ceremony Readings

Dean and I picked some of the readings for our wedding ceremony! We love them and they really represent who we are! Cant wait for our first meeting with the church! I Love that we Share our religion and really incorporate it in everything we do! It was a lot of fun reading all the verses, putting them in order from our favorite to or least favorite and then comparing notes and finding out we chose all the same reading! One thing i have learned from Dean and My relationship is how the wedding is about us and joining together as one through God. the food, flowers, and clothes are just little bonuses and i feel so blessed to Be Marrying My Best Friend!


I really enjoyed sitting down and reading bible versus together and think we may get one of the year long bibles and read one a night! It made us feel even closer not only to each other but to God and got rid of all the little stresses life threw at us through out the day!
